Perlita Picante Entertainment is Perlita Picante, a solo burlesque artist into her 9th year. She is no stranger to the stage: a natural born entertainer, Perlita has a performing background of Belly Dance and Burlesque going back to 2007. Perlita Picante made her burlesque debut in November of 2010 after she auditioned for a guest spot with TUSH! Burlesque. She is a former/founding member of Rock Candy Burlesque, troupe based in Olympia, WA. Perlita co-produced and managed graphic design, image, branding, identity, promotion and marketing for the troupe from its inception in 2011, until her departure at the end of 2016.

Perlita Picante co-produces the annual “Azucar, a Celebration of Latin & Hispanic Heritage” with Professir Rolan Thunder of Jalapeño Productions, the inaugural show took place at the historic Capitol Theater in September of 2018; and co-founded Papaya Magic Cabaret, the first all-latinx burlesque and cabaret performance collective in Olympia. In 2019, she teamed up with Portland’s Dahlia Kash for casting the upcoming show series “Mischief, a Melanated Burlesque and Variety Show”, designed to showcase performers of color from across the Pacific Northwest. Perlita performs regularly in her local scene, and is a volunteer of the 2019 Burlycon Steering Committee.
